I know this is a late reply. Aren’t there programs like crazytalk where you can add the mouth movement in manually?

Many of us are getting more serious about filming within Second Life, and live music performances are getting super popular. I think you should implement a tool that will enable the live performers avie’s to look as tho they are really singing…It would look so much better on film. Using the Advance “Enable Lip Sync” is not a solution because they are using a media stream and turning off the voice module. Is there any plans for something like this in the future?

Seconding that!
