I wouldn’t rely on the built-in mic, but you can use the computer itself, yes. Meaning you can use QuickTime or Garageband to actually do the enter, but you’ll want to find a good mic that can pick up the entire room and maintain quality. Then you can just record the same way, but the quality of what you’ll get will be much best than if you just used the built-in mic.

I am still very new at using Skype and I want to video conference with maybe 2 or 3 friends at the same time. I tried last night but it seemed I didn’t find the way. My friends and I can do the call together but not the video. So is that possible to video conference with more than 1 person at the same time? Thanks for answering.

Unfortunately, video conference is not yet available with Skype. This feature is rumored to be coming up in a later version.
